Let us support our fellow American troops who are at this very moment are protecting the freedoms that we enjoy and hold dear here at home in the states. All to often that freedom is taken for granititde....but let that never be the case with us!!!!  |

Got that right, anyone willing to defend my freedom who don't even know me has earned my respect. Here's something I wrote a while back--for the troops!!
A MOMENT OF SILENCE
A moment of silence for our heroes
Past, present, and future
Called to pay the price for freedom
Ours, as well as others unknown to us
The ultimate sacrifice--their lives
So we can go on doing what we do
A moment of silence for our brothers and sisters
Victims of freedom's hatred
Wrong place at the wrong time-innocent lives lost
Victim's of another's cowardice
We shall remain strong-we will not bend
We will win this freedom war
A moment of silence for our Christian families
Victim's of our own government
Those who set the morals and made us proud
Suddenly thrown in a corner to be ignored
Trying to be swept away and forgotten
God's mercy and grace will never be forgotten
You all are the true heroes
It's you who allow me to live as I do
It's you who will allow others to live free
And as you continue to press on
To guarantee our freedom
To you I give this moment of silence

My brother is going into the army or some branch of it not too long from now....and i dread the day that he goes. But in reality, i know that if it werent for men and women like my brother, our freedom that we take for granted, would be in grave danger.
So this goes out to all our troops, where ever they may be....and especially my 18 year old brother Ray....

My cousin is in Iraq right now for her second Tour! By the Grace of God she'll be home in Sept! Keep her in yer prayers and all over the world, and their family's ! And hopefully this war will be over when the good Lord says it's time!

She definetly has my prayers....that Iraq is fully of crazy wicked people so hopefully she'll be home safely and soon along with a swift end to the war.
