Back in 1968 when Jimmy Page put together the New Yardbirds, the world was unaware that this band would cause a rock n roll revolution. Page's philosphy of "don't be afraid, just do it and don't worry about the critics" had Zeppelin so far ahead of their time it was unbelievable. Their music would go on to influence many newer musicians, drummer John Bonham's untimely death would bring to end their legacy. Rather than replace Bonzo, the band just called it quits out of respect for him. John Paul Jones returned to the studio to produce, while Robert Plant began a successful solo career. Jimmy page would team up with Paul Rodgers and form the Firm. this lasted a couple years, abrief stinti with David Coverdale, and a brief solo career featuring Bonham's son Jason playing drums. Page and Plant would get together later on and record a couple cds and do a brief tour. rumors are going around about a Zep reunion with jason Bonham on drums, but as of yet nothing confirmed.
